What you’ll experience

Discover the true, wild heart of the island with a spectacular full-day waterfall hike deep within Khao Phra Taew National Park, home to Phuket’s last significant remaining rainforest.

This isn't a walk on paved paths; this immersive trek takes you far beyond typical public access areas, following natural trails that sometimes disappear into the dense, lush jungle foliage.

Your hike is focused on two of Phuket’s largest and most impressive cascades: Bang Pae on the east and Tonsai on the west. Along the way, you'll be rewarded with opportunities to swim in crystal-clear natural pools or stand directly under the cascading water for a refreshing shower.

The park itself is a living ecosystem, protecting rare plants like the magnificent White Back Palm, whose enormous leaves create a natural canopy above your trail. You can pause to admire the towering trees, the spectacular forest ceiling, and the rocky peaks that generate the park’s lush, wet environment.

With luck, you may encounter a variety of unique wildlife, including the famed gibbons—known as the world’s loudest mammal—along with slow lorises, langurs, deer, civets, and many species of birds.

Guided by experienced local experts, this jungle adventure is both thrilling and profoundly educational, offering a perfect mix of nature, wildlife, and scenic beauty. With lunch included, this complete and unforgettable day will leave you fully immersed in Phuket’s unique rainforest ecosystem.
